African men?s wheelchair basketball team and Banyana Banyana were honoured at
a glamorous dinner in Johannesburg on Monday. Sasol, are the title sponsors
for both teams and were thanked for their contribution to the success of the
two teams.
The SA men?s wheelchair basketball team also qualified for the London 2012
Paralympics at the African qualifying event in Rabat last October.

athletics rebirth at age 53. After a May 6 victory at Bloomsday a 12K race
that draws more than 50,000 entrants in Spokane, Wash.
She averaged 17 points and 4.5 rebounds en route to her second gold medal

Valkenburg Hills Classic.
The girls are world champions on the track and will be representing Ireland

It has to be said that the Channel 4 launch of their London 2012 Paralympic
Games coverage on Monday was better in almost every way than the BBC media
event for the main Games....But it is difficult to see S+V, who cover the
Derby for the BBC this Saturday, not getting the contract, especially with
the decision being made in the summer ahead of S+V producing the Paralympics...

met pupils aged three to seven at Brookland Junior School Primary school
pupils in Hampstead Garden Suburb got into the Olympic spirit when a London
2012 mascot dropped in to visit.
It is here where the Stoke Mandeville Games was formed, an event widely
recognised as a forerunner for the modern Paralympics.
